Welcome to our family. We are very excited to be able to share our happy, crazy life with you. This blog is of course for our grandmas and grandpas and family. But also for our friends who are crazy enough to stick around after they get to know us. So here is our kick off story to jump right into our life.
Today was another fun day at our house. L (2 years old) is mostly potty trained but sometimes wears just panties to help her remember. I was in the kitchen and turned around just in time to see L taking her panties off. Just as I was telling her to not take her panties off she wiped her nose with them. I asked her what she was doing and she said matter-of-factly, " I had boogers!" And then she put them back on. Well that's L for you. She's happy to take care of herself however she sees fit.

She's out and doing well. She does NOT like her IV even though it's pink. But she is drinking really well. The nurses fixed up hippo while A was in surgery and Ta Ta came out with an IV and a sparkly band-aid on her neck. However, A did not want her IV uncovered. It made her very mad to have a picture taken of it!
This is the happy but nervous girl going in for a tonsillectomy. She is very excited to have those stinky rotten tonsills out but nervous to be in the hospital. Her hippo, Ta Ta, has been very helpful in keeping her happy. All the nurses have been very nice and really keep her distracted from being scared. We are waiting to see how her mood is after she comes back.
